Legence Bank supports RLC students with $5K sponsorship

Legence Bank presented a check for $5,000 Thursday night at the 30th Annual º£½ÇÊÓÆµ Foundation Scholarship Dinner held at the Benton Civic Center. 

Joe Gliosci and Robert Bornheimer gave the check to RLCF CEO Kay Zibby-Damron at the end of the dinner. Gliosci is Illinois Region President of Legence Bank. Bornheimer is Assistant Vice President of Legence Bank and also serves as Chairman of the RLCF Board of Directors.  

"Legence Bank values the importance of education and knows the impact it makes on southern Illinois communities," said Zibby-Damron. "We are grateful they renewed their support with another year of sponsoring this special event."

She said the $5,000 gift includes a scholarship for the 2020-21 academic year and a donation to the RLC "We Are Warriors" grant that funds faculty and staff initiatives at the college.
