INA, Ill. (February 8, 2024)鈥擳he automotive training program at 海角视频 has been recognized by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) as an accredited program. RLC鈥檚 automotive program has received Master Automobile Service Technology Accreditation鈥攖he highest level of program accreditation recognized by the National Institute for ASE.
Master Status includes Automotive Brakes, Automotive Electrical/Electronic Systems, Automotive Engines, Automotive Engine Performance, Automotive Manual Drive Train and Axles, Automotive Suspension and Steering, Automotive Heating and Air Conditioning and Automatic Transmission and Transaxle.
To achieve this coveted recognition, the school鈥檚 automotive training program underwent rigorous evaluation by the ASE Education Foundation. Nationally accepted standards of excellence in areas such as instruction, facilities, and equipment were used.
Upon completion of the evaluation, RLC became accredited by the ASE Education Foundation. The ASE Education Foundation is a non-profit, independent organization that evaluates and accredits entry-level technician training programs against standards developed by the automotive industry.
鈥淭his is great news for automotive-minded young people and their parents,鈥 said Michael Coley, ASE Education Foundation President. 鈥淏ecause this program increases cooperation between local education and industry leaders, it gives added assurance that RLC鈥檚 graduates will be employable entry-level technicians. As a result of the quality education provided by RLC, the motoring public will benefit since better repair technicians will join the work force.鈥
RLC鈥檚 Automotive Professor Shannon Perkins talked on the importance of what it means to be accredited by ASE鈥 鈥淚t keeps us current with industry standards.鈥 He added, 鈥淥ur goal is to train students so that they can go out with a knowledge of industry standards and be successful.鈥
