Retired officer Paul Echols visits RLC Forensic Psych class (standalone photos)

INA, Ill. (Feb. 9, 2017) - Members of º£½ÇÊÓÆµ's first Forensic Psychology course met with Paul Echols, retired lieutenant of the Carbondale Police Department, last week to continue a discussion about several local criminal cases. Echols solved several cold cases during his 28 years on the Carbondale Police Department, including the case of Susan Schumake for whom the U.S. 51 overpass at Southern Illinois University Carbondale was named, and discussed criminal profiling with the RLC students. Echols is currently a Criminal Justice instructor at Shawnee Community College.
