Outreach event

º£½ÇÊÓƵ held a community outreach event on Thursday, April 22, at the Rolland Lewis Building in Mt. Vernon.

Those attending the event were introduced to a wide range of programs, classes and services offered at the college. Available topics discussed included career counseling, academic advisement, financial aid, scholarships and much more.

Lori Ragland, RLC Vice President of Instruction and Student Affairs, said the purpose of the RLC outreach event was to bring the knowledge of available resources right to the community.

"Whether you are interested in programs for children or maybe you are looking to learn a new skill or earn a GED, occupational certificate or degree, º£½ÇÊÓƵ has a wide variety of educational offerings," Ragland said.

More outreach events are being planned in the future. Keep a look out for the next opportunity and find out how your journey can begin at RLC.
