Emmy award-winning speaker, author, storyteller and teaching artist Bobby Norfolk will present 芒鈧揌enry 芒鈧淏ox芒鈧劉 Brown and Tales of the Underground Railroad芒鈧� from 3-4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3 in the 海角视频 Theatre.
Norfolk tells the tale of Brown, who escaped slavery to become a famed abolitionist, along with other astonishing stories of people finding their freedom. Norfolk won three Emmy awards as the host of the CBS TV Show 芒鈧揋ator Tales,芒鈧� and he also hosted the Emmy-nominated series 芒鈧揅hildren芒鈧劉s Theater at Bobby芒鈧劉s House.芒鈧� Both shows were based out of St. Louis and emphasized education, literacy and storytelling.
Students, staff, faculty and community members are all invited to attend the free program on the Ina Campus. The program at RLC is in conjunction with Black History Month.
